tina chu (pronouns: she/her) is an illustrator and zine maker from the Taiwanese diaspora. She specializes in comics that takes her mind of the world and perzines that delve into the heart of it.
When not drawing comics or making zines, she's found trying to perfect her burpees-per minute count and chasing after her bootcamp buddies.
A long time resident of Mississauga, tina currently lives in Toronto---the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River.
The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and Confederacy of the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes.
